Tournament Dates
The Gulfstream Gauntlet tournament fishing day will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2026.
Captain’s Meeting and Registration will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026 at Blue Point Bar & Grill.
Awards Ceremony will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Blue Point Bar & Grill.
Registration & Eligibility
All boats must be registered before Friday, August 7, 2026 at 9:00 PM.
All participants must agree to and comply with all tournament rules and regulations.
All participants must sign a liability waiver acknowledging the risks associated with offshore fishing and releasing tournament organizers from liability.
All boats must comply with all applicable USCG safety regulations. Any violations may result in disqualification.
Participants are responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local fishing regulations, including all current FWC regulations.
Fishing Hours
Official lines in: Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 7:00 AM.
Official lines out: Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 3:00 PM.
Official weigh-in closes at 4:00 PM sharp at Jupiter Inlet South Jetty.
Any fish not weighed by the official closing time will not qualify.
Eligible Species
The following species are eligible for tournament scoring:
Wahoo
Mahi-Mahi (Dolphin)
King Mackerel
Blackfin Tuna
Yellowfin Tuna
All fish must meet current FWC legal requirements. Any violation may result in disqualification of the vessel.
Tournament Boundaries
Tournament fishing boundaries are:
North Boundary: Ft. Pierce Inlet
South Boundary: Boca Inlet
All fishing activity must remain within 20 miles of the shoreline.
Fishing Rules
All fish must be caught on rod and reel only.
Wire lines are permitted.
Electric reels are prohibited, except for kite rods and downriggers.
Treble hooks are permitted.
Harpoons may not be used for any purpose during the tournament.
A maximum of six (6) lines may be in the water at any time.
Scoring & Payouts
The base tournament is a 100% payout structure.
Tournament payouts are based on total entries and may increase or decrease proportionally.
Base category payout structure is: 1st Place — 50%, 2nd Place — 30%, 3rd Place — 20%
Each scorable fish may only be weighed for one prize category.
Tournament calcuttas are separate from the base tournament structure.
If all three prize slots are not filled within a category, remaining payout amounts may be redistributed within that category.

All calcuttas are 100% payout.
Specific calcutta rules and payouts will be reviewed during the Captain’s Meeting.
Weigh-In Rules
Official tournament weigh-ins will take place at Jupiter Inlet South Jetty using an IGFA-certified scale.
In the event of a tie, earliest weigh-in time will determine the winner unless otherwise specified.
Tournament officials reserve the right to inspect all fish and equipment.
Tournament officials reserve the right to refuse any fish that does not comply with tournament rules or applicable regulations.
Taxes & Prize Payments
All winners must complete and submit a W9 form before prize money will be distributed.
Prize money may be withheld until all required tax documentation is received.
Tournament Authority
The Gulfstream Gauntlet tournament committee reserves the right to interpret all rules and make final decisions regarding tournament disputes, scoring, safety concerns, weather conditions, and eligibility.
All tournament committee decisions are final.
